Pastor Joseph Koelpin was installed as the new pastor at Faith in Tyler, Texas, on Sunday, March 14, 2021. The Koelpins moved here from Minnesota, but prior to that they had lived in Pinehurst, Texas (a suburb of Houston), where pastor Koelpin served at Abiding Faith. Welcome, and welcome back!!

TRAVEL TO THE HOLY LAND

Experience the spiritual journey of a lifetime on a tour of the Holy Land. Pray in the Garden of Gethsemane. Walk along the cliffs and caves where David hid from Saul. Explore Jerusalem and the temple. Splash in the waters of the Jordan River where the Israelites crossed and John baptized. Take a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. And for fun, you can float on the Dead Sea.

Pastor Don Patterson, the president of our South Central District, is leading a Bible study tour of the Holy Land, along with Pastor Daron Lindemann. You are invited to join the journey. Different than other tours, this one will take time to linger at significant locations, study what the Bible details about events there, and discover insights like the Emmaus disciples. “Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us” (Luke 24:32)?

Please note the date change. The new tentative date is June 2-4, 2021. The location is to be determined. This Conference is intended to also serve as a location for two satellite courses conducted by Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. Additional details will be posted as they become available.
